God in Control
I want to share with you how God has encouraged me in this pandemic.
The pandemic has been a hard time for everyone especially for kids like me. We haven’t seen our friends as much or get to see our families the way we used to. This has made me sad, but I’m glad things are slowly getting better.
I have been in Virtual school since the start, and even when all my friends and family have gone back. I’m still in virtual school because of my health.
It’s not easy being home all the time. And sometimes my treatments are tough because I don’t like the needles. Slowly, I’ve gotten used to it, plus I get to visit Ninang (godmother) Chessy at Sick Kids which is fun. The best part is my Dad buys me toys at the end and we get to spend time together.
I have learned that God is always in control. I might not like what’s happening around me, but He has a great plan for me. This is God’s truth for everyone. If you are feeling sad about something remember that there’s always a reason for it. I believe God lets us go through things so we can rely on Him and use it to encourage others.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
