Why do we celebrate Easter?
This Easter, come together with us for a special time of worship and praise! Let’s honour the resurrection of Jesus Christ and rejoice in His triumph over death.
As we reflect on Matthew 28:6 (ESV), “He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay,” let us embrace the profound significance of Easter and its message of hope. We celebrate Easter, or Resurrection Sunday, to commemorate the Resurrection of Jesus, after He died on the cross for the sins of humanity. As He has defeated the grave, we have the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ!
